Third year...done! Last exam this morning, hit the pub, phoned the family and tidied up the place. Pretty darn productive. Chilling now, have a bit of Shuggie Otis:

Half-way through...
Was pretty good today, yesterday wasn't too bad but not brilliant. In summary: exams going OK so far. Lets listen to the Pet Shop Boys to celebrate:

Thank you university
Just in case you aren't sure how to stack books in number order and put them inside number 1...now it all becomes clear!

...and they're off!
One down, five to go. Not too bad today, could have been better but could have been a heck of a lot worse. Organic and Core Chem 3 Paper 2 to go this week. Been listening to a strange mix of 90's dance music and soul of late. They make interesting bedfellows.
A variation on the last post! Anyway, back to the SoCo and coke, Aretha, and then Childrens Craniofacial Surgery, as you do.

Less than two weeks to go!
Been another day of revising...however good news is that I should at least be able to sleep now! Thanks to a £3.50 piece of blackout curtain lining off ebay and a roll of masking tape, it is no longer full daylight in my room at 5 in the morning!
Feeling almost positive about this first exam, kind of hoping all the others are alright still. Won't be missing all this sodding work though, but the calming tones of the likes of Sam Cooke are really helping:

I hate exams.
Going through past papers...not good. Don't even understand what half the questions are asking, but then I'm stuck using old papers that don't really apply any more, which just adds to the fun. I do especially enjoy questions though where you have never been given any kind of suggestion of how to answer it, no problems if its a nice, straightforward everyday kind of question, but if its one the verging on edge of biology questions and its worth 6 marks but takes an hour to do...where the hell do you start? I hope I can skip natural product biosynthesis. Its one of those where you think you understand it...but have no hope in hell of answering the question. I am very depressed now. Other stuff I've done today should come together (I hope) by next week...although Organic will always be there in the back of my mind mocking me.
I wish it was June!

Another boring exam period Saturday night...
Not long til the facking exams start, cannot wait. Got to keep thinking about the good things that come after! Might book onto a beginners German course for June...might as well do something useful with the four weeks I've got to spend up here with nothing to do. Then theres always the thought of the New Inn at approximately 12.30 on the 26th May when the final exam is done and dusted. Of course then its the holidays...family trip to Cadiz and the epic trip across America. Hopefully some time back at work, earn a bit of money and catch up. Yeah. Got a few good things going on in life. Of course, the crap stuff tends to overshadow all that but it does at least put exams into perspective.

Next Summer!
Think thats the most efficient way of doing things! Better start saving up...
On second thoughts, that costs way more. Going to have to hit Heathrow twice...which is a shame.

Shitting organic labs...
...slipped in a cheeky 78%, not bad going! Those have to be guilt marks for giving us an unworkable project...
