About to get myself into bed to try and get a few hours of sleep before my epic journey tomorrow, will be leaving no later than 1.30 in the morning...got at least 24 hours to be awake for after that. Lets hope I've not forgotten anything...

The final countdown
Off to America Monday night! Technically the flights at 0600 on Tuesday, but having to leave at about 2 in the 'morning' to get there. Can't believe its come round so quick. Need to sort clothes/baggage out but apart from that ready to go!
Today marks 5 years of having the hairy dog in the house - thats gone quick as well. Can't imagine the house without her in it any more. Fairly sure if she wasn't here, I definitely wouldn't be. Had enough of the bloody teenagers and their whinging, whining ways. Its like having two little kids in the house, apart from ones nearly 16 and the other nearly 20. Ah well. At least I have the dog. Feel bad for leaving her behind to go off on my little adventure, but what can you do? All part of getting old.
Anyway, here is a song that is quite good:
Also hoping that my fantasy football team improves its score a bit over the weekend, on 8 so far. Bit weak.

Nowt much to say
New project - not too bad. Don't really understand what it is about, but could be pretty interesting. Potentially. Hope it is anyway, got a lot riding on next year if I want my 1st (which I do!).
Not long now til USA. Getting a bit scary, not sure what the hell I'm going to do for over 10 hours on a plane. Got bored going to Berlin which was a 1.5 hour flight, not the best sign! Got all my gear for going now. Not one but TWO waterproof bags, walking shoes, backpack - we are oficially good to go.
Catching up on the new series of Breaking Bad. Not too bad so far, not catching me as quickly as past series though. Hopefully its building up to something big though. Definitely not terrible but could be better. Bought two tickets for Noel Gallagher this morning. Sad thing is I doubt I'll be going as three of us want to go, which is a bit sad. Steep prices for crap seats, very annoying that decent seats are already turning up on Seatwave, not even looked at ebay yet as its too depressing.
